2024 Justice Fund Grants

2024 Justice Fund Grants

$715,000 was awarded in 2024 in new and continuing Justice Fund grants. SYL Foundation is proud to announce new grants to 8 community-based organizations serving immigrants and refugees.

The Justice Fund provides multi-year general operating support to organizations engaged in the vital work of changing the systems and conditions that create injustices faced by immigrant and refugee communities and by all BIPOC and low-income people.

The Justice Fund supports organizations that are:

  • Building an inclusive economy in which immigrants and refugees can thrive;
  • Conducting narrative change work to advance a more welcoming, inclusive, anti-racist and compassionate vision for our nation;
  • Engaging in advocacy and systems-change work to promote civic participation and immigrant justice, including access to health care, education, housing, safety, and other basic human needs; and
  • Providing legal representation for immigrants and refugees.

None of these grants would be possible without the generosity of Foundation donors and supporters. We are deeply grateful to all of you for funding the important work of these organizations. Congratulations to the new grantees:
